FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA - Broward Health is pleased to welcome Donald Eachus as the new president of the Broward Health Foundation. Eachus will oversee the foundation's fundraising development, major gifts, annual giving, special events and all capital campaign initiatives.
Most recently, he served as the director of development for the Memorial Foundation and the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital Foundation. In that role, he oversaw the daily operations of the Development Department and collaborated with board members on fundraising campaigns.
Prior to his role at Memorial, he was the director of development for the Broward Public Library Foundation, where he cultivated strong relationships with foundations, corporations, community partners, and prospective donors.
Eachus' extensive background will make him an invaluable asset to Broward Health. Through his leadership, the foundation will continue to thrive and make significant strides in being the champion for a healthier community.
Eachus earned his Master of Business Administration in marketing from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and his Bachelor of Arts in economics from Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
