Our emergency teams treat even the most complex cases with Level I and Level II trauma centers for pediatric and adult patients. Our multidisciplinary team is prepared for all health crises, from car accidents and traumatic injuries to stroke and cardiac events. And our pediatric emergency physicians are capable of caring for unique medical issues that children face, including broken bones, lacerations, and severe illness.
Salah Foundation Children’s Hospital at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale boasts a Level 1 trauma center for our youngest patients. Children receive the best possible care for traumatic and emergency injuries and illnesses. In addition, children in western Broward County who require emergency care can seek treatment at Salah Foundation Children’s Hospital at Broward Health Coral Springs.
Beyond our 24/7 on-site emergency and trauma teams, Broward Health emergency departments have specialized care teams on-call day and night to help ensure patients receive the multidisciplinary care their condition demands.
